Education Board Bangladesh
There are total 11 education boards in Bangladesh. Of these 9 are General Education Boards and the remaining two are Special Education Boards. The general education boards are Dhaka, Comilla, Chittagong, Barisal, Rajshahi, Dinajpur, Jessore, Sylhet and Mymensingh education boards. Students participate in SSC and HSC examination under General Education Boards. Also under these boards all activities of educational institutions are conducted under these nine education boards.

HSC and Equivalent Exam Result 2024
This year 14 Lakh students appeared for HSC and equivalent exams under 11 education boards in Bangladesh. Among them, the number of students in General Education Board is 8 lakh. The number of students in Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board is 2 lakh and the number of examinees under Bangladesh Technical Education Board is 2 lakh.
On 15 February 2024, HSC and Equivalent Examination 2024 started simultaneously in Bangladesh. This exam ends with practical test. The practical exam ended on 12 March 2024.
After that, the HSC and equivalent results 2024 has been released on 9 May 2024. The results of all the education boards of Bangladesh have been published simultaneously. The pass rate is 87 percent. A total of 1 lakh 57 thousand students got GPA-5.
The Prime Minister officially inaugurated the result publication program at 10 am. After that, the results are available online and through SMS from 11 pm.
